What this award covers and who it is designed to support.

The most prestigious scholarship offered by Japan’s Ministry of Education. It covers all tuition and fees, provides round‑trip airfare, and gives a generous monthly stipend. It is available through two routes: embassy recommendation (apply in your home country) and university recommendation (apply through the Japanese university you wish to enter)

Provincial Government Scholarships

Provincial Government Scholarship is a province‑level merit‑based scholarship, funded by individual provincial governments in China. It supports full‑time non‑Chinese international students pursuing bachelor, master or PhD degrees at universities within that province. There is no single nationwide central website. Applications are handled through the host university’s international student admission system, together with your degree application. Recipients cannot receive CSC Chinese Government Scholarship simultaneously. Renewal is subject to satisfactory academic performance each academic year.

In order to deepen the academic friendship and mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign young generation, and to build a platform for the exchange of scientific research young talents in the world, China Scholarship Council (CSC) continues to carry out China Link Short-term Scientific Exchange Scholarship Program (referred to as China Link Scholarship) in 2026. 2.Program Scheme 2.1 Funding Categories General scholar: applicable to current undergraduates or graduates. Senior scholar: applicable to current Ph. D candidates or faculties 2.2 Duration 1-12 months Start study in China no later than August 31, 2027. 2.3 Working Language English or Chinese, depending on the program provided by the Chinese host universities. 2.4 Study/Research Fields: All disciplines other than Chinese language study.

Peking University (Overseas Students) Scholarship

Peking University (Overseas Students) Scholarship was established in 2012 to support outstanding students to study undergraduate and/ or postgraduate degree at Peking University. The scholarship is categorized into two categories: full and partial scholarships. The full scholarship covers tuition fees, monthly stipend (including living allowance), and medical insurance. The partial scholarship only covers tuition fees.
