Food Science and Engineering

This full‑time English‑taught Food Science and Engineering master programme focuses on food processing technology, food safety detection, food nutrition evaluation and food‑resource comprehensive‑utilization research. Teaching content integrates theoretical knowledge, food‑laboratory operation practice and industrial food‑project case analysis. Academic supervisors offer continuous guidance for students’ research projects and master thesis preparation. Students are required to finish stipulated course credits, conduct food‑science‑oriented research experiments and pass thesis defence for degree conferral. Qualified foreign applicants have access to Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑funded scholarship schemes.

Frontiers in Exercise Physiology

The Hungarian University of Sports Science (HUSS), successfully hosted a summer school on its Budapest campus between 21 and 25 June 2025.The five-day event focused on topics such as exercise and epigenetics, skeletal muscle aging, mitochondrial morphology and life cycle, limits of VO₂ max, and exercise-induced oxidative stress.Distinguished lecturers included Professor Scott Powers, Professor Li Li Ji, Professor David Hood, and Professor Zsolt Radak, Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation at Hungarian University of Sports Science.A total of 26 participants took part in the event, representing countries such as China, India, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil, Albania, Kenya, Indonesia, Romania, and Hungary.We are grateful to all the speakers and participants for contributing to the success of this memorable event!SCOTT K. Short descriptionThe German Studies bachelor program aims to train professionals in German language and writing, who are capable of a high level (at least C1 CEFR level) use and acquire in-depth theoretical and practical information related to German in the areas of culture and history. These skills and theoretical knowledge enable students to perform in managing and organizing tasks for tourism, the economy, the media and the press, culture and public administration, and in general they acquire the ability to translate and interpret texts. Note that the program does not offer teaching qualifications.Specializations: German language in the economic and business communicationTranslation (German – Hungarian; Hungarian language skills are required)Strength of programThe BA program comprises a 3 year course of studies. The program is divided into two tracks: the first year track offers a general introduction, the second and third years are reserved for the main module. At the end of each track there are complex examinations. At the end of the general track students take the language proficiency examination, at the end of the main module they take the final examination and conclude their program. 

Germanic Studies, Specialized in Netherlandistic Studies BA

Short descriptionThe BA course in Netherlandic Studies aims to train professionals in Dutch language, as well as Dutch/Flemish literature, culture and history, who are able to use this language on an advanced level, both in writing and speaking (level C1) and use it in their professions. Moreover, they gain in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Dutch literature, culture and history. The three-year BA program does not provide teaching qualifications.This program is recommended to applicants who are interested in languages, literature, translation, cultural studies, media, intercultural communication and cultural diplomacy. It is especially recommended to those, who are interested in studying the Dutch language, cultures and literatures on academic level. This program enables students to learn the Dutch language on a professional level, use it in academic writing, as well as everyday oral argumentation in a scholarly and business environment. Students will thus attain the foundations of academic research, evaluation and critical thinking in literature, Dutch and Flemish socio-political history, and develop an understanding of the linguistic levels of description and analysis of Dutch (phonology and syntax). Strength of programThe BA program in Netherlandic Studies aims to provide the fundaments (language, linguistic, literary and cultural studies) necessary for the philological study of The Netherlands and the Flemish part of Belgium to its graduates. Our program results in graduates with not only proficiency in the Dutch language, but also a familiarity with the societies and cultures of the countries where Dutch is spoken as the first language. Our graduates will be familiar with fields and methods of academic research and will be able to meet the requirements of the MA course.The Department participates in several high-profile international research networks and projects (DCC, CELSA, PETRA-E, Eastbound-CODL). Students acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills that can be utilised in both private and public-sector establishments.•    Level of language proficiency corresponds to C1 level (proficiency) of CEFR. Language of instruction in the courses is Dutch (with the exception of the translation and interpretation courses, where Hungarian is also used).•    Students are eligible for admission to MA programs.

Global BBA Program is a four‑year full‑time English‑taught undergraduate program run by Renmin Business School of Renmin University of China. This international bachelor program targets non‑Chinese‑nationality applicants. The study arrangement includes campus learning inside Renmin University Beijing campus plus one‑year overseas study at partner higher‑education institutions without extra tuition charge. Core subjects include management foundation, micro‑economics, macro‑economics, accounting, marketing, organizational behaviour, international‑business administration and China‑oriented business modules.
