The Maastricht University (UM) Holland High Potential Scholarship Programme combines the Holland Scholarship (funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science) with UM’s own High Potential Scholarship. It aims to attract highly talented students from outside the EU/EEA to pursue a Master’s degree at UM. This fully-funded scholarship provides financial support for tuition, living costs, and additional expenses.

Eligibility

Who can apply and what academic or personal criteria you need to meet.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • Non-EU/EEA nationality.
  • Applied and admitted to a full-time Master’s program at UM.
  • Excellent academic record (top 5–10% of class).
  • Not older than 35 years on 1 September of the intake year.
  • Meet program-specific admission and English language requirements.
