• Since 1970 the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), a German political foundation inspired by Christian-democratic values, awards scholarships to qualified international graduates who wish to pursue postgraduate (Master), doctoral, or research study at German universities. The programme emphasizes academic excellence, civic and social engagement, and an interest in political and social issues. Scholarship holders receive financial support (monthly allowance), subsidized health insurance, an interdisciplinary seminar programme, mentoring and access to the KAS global network.
