Agricultural Water‑Soil Engineering

 Agricultural Water‑Soil Engineering is a full‑time English‑taught academic master programme run by College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering, Northwest A&F University. As one of the characteristic superior disciplines of the university, this programme focuses on agricultural water‑saving irrigation technology, soil improvement and soil‑water resource utilization, agricultural ecological environment protection, farmland water conservancy project design and water resource optimal allocation research directions. Its teaching system combines systematic theoretical knowledge teaching, field water‑soil experiment practice, high‑level academic seminars and research group project practice. Every international student is assigned a professional supervisor, providing full‑cycle academic guidance covering course selection, research topic demonstration, project practice and thesis writing. Agronomy is a full‑time English‑taught academic master programme for international students operated by College of Agronomy, Northwest A&F University. Rooted in the university’s dominant disciplinary advantages in agriculture and forestry, this programme mainly focuses on crop germplasm resource innovation, crop genetic breeding, crop cultivation and physiology, stress resistance physiology of crops and sustainable agricultural production research directions. The training system integrates systematic theoretical course learning, field planting experiment practice, greenhouse platform research, participation in agricultural research group projects and postgraduate dissertation research. Every enrolled international student will be assigned a dedicated faculty supervisor, who provides comprehensive academic guidance covering course module selection, research topic confirmation, field experiment arrangement and thesis composition. Applied Economics is an English‑taught full‑time academic master programme operated by School of Economics, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics.
