 Agricultural Water‑Soil Engineering is a full‑time English‑taught academic master programme run by College of Water Resources and Architectural Engineering, Northwest A&F University. Its teaching system combines systematic theoretical knowledge teaching, field water‑soil experiment practice, high‑level academic seminars and research group project practice. Every international student is assigned a professional supervisor, providing full‑cycle academic guidance covering course selection, research topic demonstration, project practice and thesis writing. Students are required to finish compulsory and elective course credits, participate in agricultural water‑soil engineering research projects, complete independent original master dissertation and pass thesis defence so as to obtain the official master degree issued by Northwest A&F University. Upon formal approval for study extension, the maximum permitted study period can reach 4 years. Graduates are competent for water‑saving technology research, soil resource assessment, farmland engineering design and comprehensive management jobs in water conservancy research institutes, agricultural ecological research institutions and water‑conservancy engineering enterprises. Qualified overseas applicants may apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑administered international student scholarships for financial aid.
