This full-time English-taught Master of Nursing programme is offered by School of Public Health at Wuhan University, a top-tier school in public health and nursing education in China. The programme focuses on clinical nursing practice, nursing management, community nursing, geriatric nursing and chronic disease nursing, combining theoretical teaching, clinical practice and nursing research. Major research directions include clinical nursing practice optimization, nursing management and quality control, community and public health nursing, geriatric nursing and chronic disease care, nursing education and talent cultivation. The programme aims to cultivate high-level international nursing talents who master systematic nursing theories, possess clinical nursing practice, nursing management, nursing research and cross-cultural communication capabilities. The curriculum consists of advanced postgraduate core nursing courses, characteristic elective modules, frontier nursing academic seminars, clinical practice training, nursing research project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses include Advanced Clinical Nursing, Nursing Management, Community Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Chronic Disease Nursing, Nursing Research Methodology and Academic Thesis Writing. During the 3-year full-time study period, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in domestic and international nursing academic conferences, finish clinical practice training in affiliated hospitals and community health service institutions, take part in faculty-managed nursing research projects and accumulate clinical practice experience.
