The 
programme aims to cultivate high-level international nursing talents who master systematic nursing theories, possess clinical nursing practice, nursing management, nursing research and cross-cultural communication capabilities. The curriculum consists of advanced postgraduate core nursing courses, characteristic elective modules, frontier nursing academic seminars, clinical practice training, nursing research project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses include Advanced Clinical Nursing, Nursing Management, Community Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Chronic Disease Nursing, Nursing Research Methodology and Academic Thesis Writing. During the 3-year full-time study period, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in domestic and international nursing academic conferences, finish clinical practice training in affiliated hospitals and community health service institutions, take part in faculty-managed nursing 
research projects and accumulate clinical practice experience. Each enrolled student receives one-on-one academic guidance from supervisors and clinical mentors. Under supervisor instruction, students carry out literature collection and review, research scheme design, clinical data collection and analysis, research-outcome summarisation and thesis drafting, and finally complete original master thesis and pass thesis defence. Applicants must submit authenticated bachelor-degree certificate in nursing or related health discipline and full official academic transcript issued by accredited higher-education institutions. Non-native English-speaking applicants shall provide valid English-proficiency certificates (IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 80 or above). Applicants who have finished full-degree programmes fully taught in English may apply for language-score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally shall not exceed 35 years old, and physical-mental health 
condition must satisfy medical-examination criteria for Chinese student-visa application and clinical practice requirements. After completing all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates are awarded official master-degree diploma issued by Wuhan University. Graduates can engage in clinical nursing, nursing management, community nursing, nursing education work in global hospitals, health management institutions, nursing education institutions, or pursue further PhD-level academic study worldwide.
