This full‑time English‑taught Master of Marine Sciences postgraduate programme is hosted by the School of Marine Sciences, Sun Yat‑sen University, located at Zhuhai Campus. The programme targets international students who hope to systematically master marine‑science basic theories, ocean‑observation technology, marine‑environment protection and marine‑resource utilisation knowledge. Non‑native‑English applicants need to provide valid English proficiency proof such as IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80; applicants whose highest‑degree programme is delivered in English may be exempted from submitting language test scores with formal supporting documents. Applicants should possess basic natural‑science knowledge background and competent English listening, speaking, reading and writing competence to adapt to all‑English teaching environment. After fulfilling all course credit requirements and successfully passing master thesis defence, graduates will obtain official master’s degree diploma issued by Sun Yat‑sen University.
