This full‑time English‑taught Master of Information and Communication Engineering postgraduate programme is administered by the School of Electronic and Information Engineering at South China University of Technology. The programme focuses on modern communication theories, signal processing technology, wireless network system, multimedia information transmission and related cutting‑edge research fields, aiming to cultivate high‑level international engineering talents who possess solid theoretical foundation, strong practical engineering capability, cross‑cultural communication competence and global research vision in information and communication domain. The curriculum consists of compulsory core courses and diversified elective modules, covering Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Wireless Communication System, Mobile Communication Technology, Network Communication Security, Multimedia Information Processing, Antenna and Electromagnetic Wave Technology, Artificial Intelligence for Communication, Digital Image Processing, and Frontier Seminar on Information and Communication Engineering. During the two‑year full‑time study cycle, students are required to complete all prescribed course credits, participate in regular academic seminars, laboratory research workshops and industry‑university cooperative project activities hosted by the school. Every enrolled student will be assigned a professional supervisor with abundant research experience in communication engineering. Under supervisor’s guidance, students will conduct literature review, technical simulation, laboratory experiment operation and engineering project training, and finish a qualified master graduation thesis. Applicants must provide authenticated bachelor’s degree certificate and complete official academic transcript issued by recognised higher‑education institutions, preferably majored in electronic information, communication, computer science or related engineering subjects. Non‑native‑English applicants need to provide valid English proficiency proof such as IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 80; applicants whose highest‑degree programme is delivered in English may be exempted from submitting language test scores with formal supporting documents. Applicants should possess basic mathematical and engineering knowledge background and competent English listening, speaking, reading and writing competence to adapt to all‑English teaching environment. After fulfilling all course credit requirements and successfully passing master thesis defence, graduates will obtain official master’s degree diploma issued by South China University of Technology.
