Core courses include structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, bridge and tunnel engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation, construction management, wind engineering, numerical simulation for civil infrastructure and modern construction technology. Teaching integrates theoretical lectures, laboratory experiments, large‑scale engineering‑case seminars, field investigations to major domestic infrastructure projects and faculty‑led scientific‑research projects. The study schedule contains one‑year course learning phase, no less than six‑month professional practice and around ten‑month thesis‑writing phase. Applicants shall be non‑Chinese citizens holding valid passports and hold a recognized bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related science‑engineering majors. Two academic recommendation letters, curriculum vitae and English‑written study plan are required for application. Admitted students need to complete credit requirements, finish engineering‑practice assignments and pass English master thesis defense to obtain the master degree. Graduates can work for international construction enterprises, infrastructure design institutes, transportation‑construction authorities and civil‑engineering research institutions worldwide.
