The Master of Environmental Science program is a full-time English-taught academic master program operated by the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Tianjin University. The program focuses on environmental pollution control, ecological restoration, environmental impact assessment, sustainable development and environmental management research directions. The teaching system combines systematic theoretical course learning, environmental monitoring and experimental practice, field investigation and research group project training. Every international student will be assigned a dedicated faculty supervisor, who provides comprehensive academic guidance
covering course selection, research topic confirmation, experimental research implementation and thesis composition. Students need to complete all required course credits, engage in environmental science research work, finish an independent original master dissertation and pass the final thesis defence to obtain the official master degree certificate issued by Tianjin University. Graduates are competent for environmental research, pollution control, environmental management and ecological protection posts in government environmental protection departments, scientific research institutes, environmental protection enterprises and consulting agencies. Qualified overseas applicants can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university-funded scholarships for financial aid
