Tuition €4,784 4784 EUR per academic year(36800 RMB /year)• Fee description: €4784 tuition fee per academic year, equivalent to RMB 36,800 per academic year for engineering‑field master programmes. Non‑refundable application fee €104 (CNY 800) shall be paid upon application submission. Tuition fee is for 2026 intake and subject to official university revision. Qualified applicants are eligible for YES China Excellence Scholarship under Chinese Government Scholarship framework as well as university‑level scholarships covering partial or full tuition costs. Accommodation, mandatory medical insurance, residence permit fees, textbooks, lab reagent consumption, field investigation expenditure and all personal living expenses are excluded from tuition fees. All charges comply with Zhejiang University financial regulations for international postgraduate students. It is suggested applicants obtain Provisional Acceptance Form from ZJU supervisor to improve admission competitiveness.

Curriculum framework includes advanced postgraduate core courses, professional elective modules, global‑energy‑frontier academic seminars, engineering‑practice training, supervisor‑guided scientific‑research projects and master‑deg

Core courses contain Advanced Energy Conversion Theory, New‑Energy Power Generation Technology, Low‑Carbon Energy System Optimisation, Thermal Equipment Design and Analysis, Hydrogen Energy Technology and Application, Engineering Research Methodology, Academic Paper Writing and Thesis Standardisation, alongside thematic seminars focusing on global clean‑energy research hot‑spots. During 2‑year full‑time study, students shall complete compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in college‑organised energy‑science forums, join faculty‑led energy‑research projects and accumulate engineering simulation and experimental practical experience. Each enrolled student is assigned a faculty supervisor with abundant energy‑industry‑research experience. Under supervisor’s instruction, students will accomplish extensive literature review, research‑topic demonstration, simulation‑and‑experimental scheme design, data acquisition‑and‑statistical‑analysis, research‑result‑summarisatio
n‑and‑paper‑writing, and finish qualified original master graduation thesis. Applicants are required to submit authenticated bachelor‑degree certificate and complete official academic transcript issued by accredited higher‑education institutions. Applicants with energy‑power, thermal engineering, new‑energy and other STEM‑related backgrounds gain priority in admission assessment. Non‑native‑English‑speaking applicants shall provide valid English‑proficiency documents: IELTS overall band 6.5 or TOEFL iBT ≥90. Applicants holding prior full‑degree education fully delivered in English may apply for language‑score‑exemption with official supporting‑documents subject to university review. It is strongly suggested applicants get supervisor’s provisional acceptance form before application to enhance review outcome. Applicant age generally shall not exceed 35‑years‑old and physical‑mental‑health condition must satisfy medical‑examination‑standards for Chinese‑student‑visa‑application. After satisfying all curriculum‑assessment‑criteria 
and passing master‑thesis‑defence, graduates obtain official master‑degree‑diploma awarded by Zhejiang University. Graduates can engage in technical‑R&D and project‑management roles within international new‑energy enterprises, energy‑research‑institutes, low‑carbon‑technology‑organisations, cross‑border energy‑consulting‑companies, or pursue further doctoral‑level‑study globally.
