The Master of Control Science and Engineering program is a full-time English-taught academic master program operated by the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Tianjin University. The program focuses on intelligent control systems, automation technology, robotics, industrial internet and control system simulation research directions. The teaching system combines systematic theoretical course learning, control system design and simulation practice, laboratory experimental training and high-level academic seminars. International students can join faculty research teams to participate in national key control science and engineering research projects. Every student is assigned a professional supervisor, providing full-cycle academic guidance. Students need to complete all required course credits, finish a
control system design and research project, complete an independent master thesis and pass the thesis defence to obtain the official master degree issued by Tianjin University. Graduates are well-qualified for control system design, automation technology research and development, equipment management and industrial engineering posts in manufacturing enterprises, high-tech companies, scientific research institutes and engineering design companies. Qualified overseas applicants can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university-sponsored scholarships to offset tuition costs.
