engineering talents who master solid chemical engineering theoretical knowledge, possess chemical experiment operation and process simulation capability, independent scientific‑research innovation awareness and cross‑cultural academic exchange competence. The curriculum consists of advanced postgraduate core engineering courses, discipline‑oriented elective modules, cutting‑edge chemical‑engineering academic seminars, laboratory rotation training, supervisor‑led research project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses include Advanced Chemical Engineering, Green Chemical Technology, New Functional Chemical Materials, Separation Process Simulation, Clean Energy Chemical Engineering, Engineering Research Methodology, Academic Writing and Thesis Standardisation, and serial thematic seminars tracking global chemical‑engineering research frontiers. During the 3‑year full‑time study period, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, 
attend chemical‑engineering academic conferences and technical workshops, finish multi‑group laboratory rotation practice, take part in faculty‑managed chemical research projects and accumulate sufficient experimental practical experience. Every admitted student will receive one‑on‑one academic supervision from faculty member. Under supervisor guidance, students will finish comprehensive literature review, research scheme design, chemical experiment and process simulation test, experimental data statistics and analysis, research result sorting and academic paper drafting, and finally complete original master graduation thesis and pass thesis defence. Applicants must submit authenticated bachelor degree certificate and full official academic transcript issued by accredited higher education institutions. Applicants with chemical engineering, applied chemistry, material science and related engineering backgrounds receive priority consideration. Non‑native English‑speaking applicants need valid English proficiency 
certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL. Applicants who have finished full‑degree programmes fully taught in English can apply for language score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally should not exceed 35 years old, and physical‑mental health condition must satisfy medical examination criteria for Chinese student visa. After fulfilling all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates are awarded official master degree diploma issued by Zhejiang University of Technology. Graduates can take research‑and‑development positions in chemical research institutes, fine‑chemical enterprises, new‑material manufacturing corporations, environmental‑protection technology organisations, or pursue further PhD‑level academic study worldwide.
