This full‑time English‑taught Master of Biological Resources and Environment programme is offered by the School of Life Science and Technology, Xinjiang University. Relying on unique arid‑zone biological resources in Xinjiang, this programme concentrates on desert biological resource exploitation, arid‑zone ecological restoration, biological diversity protection and environmental biological monitoring research. Core teaching modules include arid‑land ecology, biological resource utilization technology, ecological restoration engineering and field ecological survey methodology. The college owns biological‑resource laboratories and multiple field‑research stations in desert and oasis regions. Under supervisors’ guidance, international students can participate in local ecological‑research projects. Students must fulfil all course‑credit obligations, complete biological‑environment‑related scientific‑research work, finish thesis writing and pass formal thesis defence to obtain the master‑degree certificate. Eligible overseas students can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and internal university scholarships for study‑funding support.
