Aerospace Science and Technology is an English‑medium full‑time academic master programme for international students under School of Astronautics, Northwestern Polytechnical University. Relying on the national key aerospace discipline construction platform, this programme concentrates on spacecraft overall design, aerospace propulsion technology, orbit control technology, aerospace structural design and space environment adaptability research directions. The programme adopts supervisor‑led postgraduate cultivation mechanism. Core theoretical courses, frontier academic seminars and aerospace‑oriented simulation experimental teaching are delivered in English. International students can join faculty research teams to participate in key aerospace research projects. Students need to complete all required course credits, engage in practical research work, finish independent master thesis and pass thesis defence for graduation and degree conferral. Valid formal extension application permits the maximum study duration up to 4 years. Graduates can take positions including spacecraft research and development, system simulation analysis, technical design and engineering management in aerospace research institutes, aerospace equipment manufacturing enterprises and related high‑tech industrial organisations. Eligible overseas candidates can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑funded scholarships to offset tuition costs.
