  • Must be a new PhD applicant to Imperial (current PhD students ineligible)
    • Hold (or be expected to receive) a first-class undergraduate degree (or integrated master’s), or a distinction in a standalone master’s — with alternate pathways available for exceptional candidates of non-traditional backgrounds Imperial College London+1

  • Secure support from a PhD supervisor at Imperial (maximum one President’s scholar per supervisor). Check unavailable supervisors list before applying Imperial College London+1
    • Submit PhD admission application via Imperial’s online system
    • In the personal statement (up to 2 pages), include:
      1. Your motivation and fit for Imperial and the scholarship
      2. Your research proposal
