About this scholarship

What this award covers and who it is designed to support.

The GREAT Scholarships, created by the UK government alongside the British Council's GREAT Britain Campaign and participating universities, support outstanding international students from selected countries. The program provides £10,000 (or sometimes more) tuition fee discounts for one-year Master's programs at top UK institutions, helping reduce financial barriers and enhance global academic collaboration. Over 200 scholarships were available for the 2025–26 cycle.

Have (or soon expect) an offer for a one-year postgraduate taught course at a participating university

University of Lausanne (UNIL) Master’s Grants for Foreign Students

Masters Switzerland CHF 1,600

The University of Lausanne (UNIL) offers a limited number of Master’s Grants to outstanding international students who wish to pursue a Master’s degree at the university. The scholarships are highly competitive and designed to support academically strong students who could not otherwise afford to study in Switzerland.
