Eligibility
Who can apply and what academic or personal criteria you need to meet.
The eligibility criteria is as follows:
- Indian nationals or OCI holders
- Age: ≤ 30 years for Master’s; ≤ 23 years for Bachelor’s
- Must have applied to (or hold admission at) a recognized French institution before applying
- Knowledge of French is an asset but not mandatory
- For Master’s, existing M1 students in France may apply for M2 year funding, subject to performance

The requirements are as follows:
- Passport copy, passport-size photo
- CV (≤ 2 pages), motivation letter / statement of purpose
- Academic transcripts and degree certificates
- Admission/acceptance letter (or proof of pending admission email)
- Optional: French proficiency (DELF/DALF), employment/internship records, letters of recommendation
Selection based on academic excellence, SOP quality; shortlisted candidates attend an online interview
What is covered
Tuition, living costs, and other expenses included in this award.
The scholarship includes coverage for:
- Master’s & Bachelor’s: Monthly living allowance (~€860), student visa and Etudes en France fee waiver, social security, health insurance, meal discounts (€1 meals), accommodation assistance (CROUS residencies, subject to availability)
- Lab (Internship): ~€700 per month (max 2 months), visa & Etudes en France fee waiver
- Exchange (Semester): €860/month, similar coverage as above (visa, social security, accommodation support)
