Who can apply and what academic or personal criteria you need to meet.
The eligibility criteria is as follows:
- Applicants must be international students liable for overseas fees.
- Must apply for—or be admitted to—a full-time PhD program at Edinburgh.
- Must show outstanding academic merit (typically a First-Class or high Upper Second-Class degree and preferably a strong Master’s).
Must not already hold a PhD or equivalent, and cannot receive other full scholarships concurrently (e.g., Commonwealth or Marshall).
