Master of Public Health

This full-time English-taught Master of Public Health programme is delivered by School of Public Health at Wuhan University, a renowned school in public health education and research in China. The programme focuses on public health policy and management, disease prevention and control, health promotion, global health and health system governance, combining theoretical teaching, field investigation and public health practice. Major research directions include public health policy and management, infectious disease prevention and control, chronic disease prevention and management, health promotion and education, global health and health system reform. The programme aims to cultivate high-level international public health talents who master systematic public health theories, possess public health practice, policy analysis, project management and cross-cultural communication capabilities. The curriculum includes advanced postgraduate core public health courses, characteristic elective modules, frontier public health academic seminars, field investigation practice, public health project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses include Public Health Policy and Management, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Disease Prevention and Control, Health Promotion and Education, Global Health, Research Methodology and Academic Thesis Writing. During the 2-year full-time study, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in domestic and international public health academic conferences, finish field investigation in disease control centers, health management departments and community health service institutions, take part in faculty-managed public health research projects and accumulate practical experience. Every admitted student receives one-on-one academic supervision from faculty supervisors. Under supervisor guidance, students complete literature retrieval and review, research scheme design, field data collection and analysis, research-result sorting and thesis drafting, and finally complete original master thesis and pass thesis defence. Applicants shall provide authenticated bachelor-degree certificate in public health, medicine, nursing or related health discipline and full official academic transcript issued by accredited higher-education institutions. Non-native English-speaking applicants need valid English-proficiency certificates (IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 80 or above). Applicants who have completed full-degree programmes fully delivered in English can apply for language-score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally should not exceed 35 years old, and physical-mental health condition must satisfy medical-examination criteria for Chinese student-visa application. After finishing all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates obtain official master-degree diploma awarded by Wuhan University. Graduates can engage in public health management, disease prevention and control, health promotion, global health work in global health management departments, disease control centers, international health organizations, research institutes, or pursue further PhD-level academic study worldwide.

Master of Regional Economics

This full‑time English‑taught Master of Regional Economics programme centres on regional‑economic‑development‑theories, regional‑industrial‑planning, urban‑economic‑research and China‑regional‑development‑policy. Coursework includes theoretical study, regional‑economic‑data‑analysis and field‑research‑training. Each international student is matched with a supervisor for research‑topic‑selection and thesis‑completion. Students need to finish course credits, carry out regional‑economic‑oriented research and pass thesis defence to obtain the master degree. Graduates may engage in regional‑planning‑institutions, local‑government‑economic‑departments and economic‑research‑organisations. Eligible international applicants can apply for government and university scholarships.

Master of Regional Economics

This full‑time English‑taught Master of Regional Economics programme is delivered by the School of Economics and Management at Xinjiang University. Centering on the economic construction of border areas and western China, this programme mainly studies regional industrial development, opening‑up economy, resource industrial transformation and cross‑border economic cooperation. Core courses contain regional economic theories, central‑asia economic cooperation research, resource‑based economy, border trade economy and economic data quantitative analysis. The college has built research platforms for central‑asian studies and multiple field‑investigation bases in local industrial parks. Every international graduate student is assigned a professional supervisor, who provides comprehensive guidance for course selection, field research arrangement, research‑topic screening and thesis composition. Students are required to finish all compulsory and elective course credits, complete field‑investigation assignments, carry out independent research and pass formal thesis defence to acquire the master degree. Master of Resource & Environmental Science and Plant Protection (English‑taught)

This interdisciplinary master program combines soil science, plant nutrition, agricultural environmental protection and plant protection knowledge. Master of Science in Financial Technology is a full‑time English‑instructed postgraduate program belonging to the School of Finance at Renmin University of China. The program merges modern financial theories, digital‑technology application and China‑local fin‑tech industry practice together. Its curriculum covers core finance knowledge, big‑data analysis, block‑chain finance, risk management of digital‑financial products, regulatory technology and China fin‑tech market research.
