About this program
What this degree covers and what you can expect from the university.
This two‑year full‑time joint double‑master program is cooperatively developed by Peking University and Sciences Po of France, focusing on sustainable‑development governance and international‑relations research. The program enrolls international students with social‑science background. Students complete study modules on both Chinese and French campuses. Core curriculum integrates sustainable‑development goal research, global environmental governance, international‑relations theories, cross‑regional comparative politics and international development practice. Drawing academic strengths from both institutions, courses combine theoretical lectures, field‑investigation projects, cross‑national case seminars and expert‑sharing sessions. Students master interdisciplinary analytical tools for global sustainable‑development issues, and build cross‑cultural academic networks with peers from worldwide regions. After fulfilling dual‑university academic requirements, participants obtain two independent master degrees. Graduates fit for posts in United Nations‑related agencies, environmental‑governance organizations, international‑development institutions and global policy‑research think‑tanks.
