We welcome applications from those who are already familiar with the basic concepts of business and economics, but would like to develop into a strategic thinker and implementer, by mastering the tools of a global business leader. Apply if you want to gain a holistic understanding of how management (strategy, processes, technology) and leadership (innovation, organisational culture, and motivation) work together. You will also develop your soft skills – such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication.”
In accordance with the national entry requirements for the master’s degree in Management and Leadership, we must conduct a credit recognition procedure for all applicants, with the exception of those who have completed BSc in Business and Management accredited in Hungary. During the credit recognition process, applicants must prove that they have earned 15 credits in methodology (mathematics, statistics, IT), 10 credits in economics, 15 credits in business (e.g., accounting, finance, marketing), 10 credits in social sciences, and 10 credits in management (e.g., management, HR, strategic planning). Some of the missing credits can be made up during the first year of the program.
Examinations
Students will encounter a variety of assessment methods. Nearly half of the compulsory courses are graded by exam (oral or written), while the other half are graded by coursework completed during the semester. For most courses, part of the grade can be earned during the semester through class participation, team projects and presentations.
Traineeships
An 8-week mandatory international internship is compulsory for the CEMS diploma.
CEMS Master in International Management
Take part in one of the world’s leading business programmes. As a CEMS Master in International Management student, you will spend one semester at one of the 33 leading business schools participating in the CEMS network. Through projects, skills development seminars, and career programmes, you will gain access to more than 70 CEMS corporate partners. Consists of a 60-point written exam (Type A: analytical, logic, data insights) and a 30-point oral interview. Written exam can be waived for AACSB/EQUIS/CEMS degree holders.
