Master of Mechanical Engineering is a full‑time English‑taught international master programme offered by the School of Mechanical Engineering, Nanchang University. The programme focuses on advanced manufacturing technology, mechanical design and theory, intelligent equipment development, new energy power machinery and mechanical system intelligent control. The curriculum contains advanced mechanical theory lectures, digital simulation analysis, manufacturing process practice, engineering case studies, academic seminars and research project training. Each international student is assigned a supervisor with rich mechanical engineering research experience to guide course selection, research scheme formulation and master dissertation writing. Students need to complete all required course credits, participate in mechanical‑related scientific research and practical projects, finish an independent original master dissertation and pass thesis defence to obtain the official master degree certificate issued by Nanchang University. Upon formal administrative approval, maximum study period can be extended to 4 years. Graduates can engage in mechanical product design, intelligent equipment research‑development, production process optimisation and technical management work in machinery research institutes, advanced manufacturing enterprises and engineering technology organisations. Qualified overseas applicants can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑funded international student scholarships for financial support.
