This full-time English-taught Master of International Business programme is delivered by Economics and Management School at Wuhan University, a top-tier comprehensive university in China with outstanding business discipline strength. The programme focuses on global business operation, cross-border management, international trade and digital business development, combining theoretical teaching, enterprise practice and academic research. Major research directions include international trade and cross-border e-commerce, global business strategy, international financial management, and cross-cultural business
communication. The programme aims to cultivate high-level international business talents who master systematic business management theories, possess global business vision, cross-cultural communication skills and practical enterprise operation capabilities. The curriculum includes advanced postgraduate core business courses, global business elective modules, industry frontier seminars, enterprise field investigation, supervisor-led research project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses include International Business Management, Cross-border E-commerce Operation, Global Marketing Strategy, International Financial Management, Business Research Methodology and Academic Thesis Writing. During the 2-year full-time study, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in business academic conferences and enterprise practical training, complete field investigation in international enterprises, take part in faculty-managed
business research projects and accumulate practical experience. Every admitted student receives one-on-one academic supervision from faculty supervisors. Under supervisor guidance, students complete literature review, research scheme design, enterprise survey, data analysis, research result sorting and thesis drafting, and finally complete original master thesis and pass thesis defence. Applicants shall provide authenticated bachelor-degree certificate and official academic transcript issued by accredited higher-education institutions. Non-native English-speaking applicants need valid English-proficiency certificates (IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 80 or above). Applicants who have completed full-degree programmes fully delivered in English can apply for language-score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally should not exceed 35 years old, and physical-mental health condition must satisfy medical-examination criteria for Chinese
student-visa application. After finishing all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates obtain official master-degree diploma awarded by Wuhan University. Graduates can engage in international business operation, cross-border enterprise management, international trade and related work in global enterprises, or pursue further PhD-level academic study worldwide.
