This full‑time English‑taught Master of International Business programme is offered by the College of Economics at Ocean University of China. Benefiting from the university’s prominent advantages in marine economy research, this postgraduate programme combines general international‑business theories with marine‑economic featured research perspectives. It focuses on 
international trade, cross‑border investment, global industrial‑chain operation and marine‑related economic cooperation under economic globalisation background. Major research directions include international trade theory and policy, cross‑border investment and multinational‑enterprise management, marine economy and blue‑economy international cooperation, global supply‑chain management. The programme commits itself to cultivating high‑level interdisciplinary international business talents who master systematic international‑business theoretical knowledge, possess cross‑border market analysis capability, enterprise strategic‑planning thinking, cross‑cultural negotiation skills and independent practical‑research competence. The curriculum consists of advanced postgraduate core business‑economics courses, characteristic elective modules related to marine economy, frontier international‑business thematic seminars, enterprise field‑investigation practice, supervisor‑led research‑project participation and master‑thesis 
research work. Representative core courses cover Advanced International Trade, Multinational Enterprise Management, Global Supply Chain Analysis, Marine Economic Cooperation, Business Research Methodology and Academic Thesis Writing. During the two‑year full‑time study period, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, take part in university‑hosted economics and international‑business academic conferences and workshops, conduct field investigations at local foreign‑trade and marine‑industry enterprises, participate in faculty‑managed research projects, and accumulate practical research experience. Each admitted student receives one‑on‑one academic guidance from supervisors. Under supervisor guidance, students complete literature retrieval and review, research‑scheme design, enterprise‑oriented social survey, multi‑dimensional economic‑data sorting and econometric analysis, research‑result summarisation and thesis drafting, and finally finish original master thesis and pass thesis 
defence. Applicants must submit authenticated bachelor‑degree certificate and full official academic transcript issued by accredited higher‑education institutions. Applicants with economics, business‑administration or international‑trade‑relevant academic backgrounds are prioritised in admission evaluation. Non‑native English‑speaking applicants shall provide valid English‑proficiency certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL. Applicants who have finished full‑degree programmes fully taught in English can apply for English‑score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally shall not exceed 35 years old, and physical‑mental health condition must satisfy medical‑examination criteria for Chinese student‑visa application. After completing all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates are awarded official master‑degree diploma issued by Ocean University of China. Graduates can take positions in international‑trade enterprises, multinational 
corporations, economic‑research institutions, marine‑industry‑related international‑co‑operation organisations, or pursue further PhD‑level academic study worldwide.
