This English‑medium master program focuses on global communication research and cross‑cultural journalism practice. Benefiting from BFSU’s outstanding accumulation of foreign language and global regional research resources, this program aims to cultivate high‑level interdisciplinary talents who master international communication theories, digital media operation and cross‑cultural narrative capacity. Core courses include global media theory, cross‑cultural journalism practice, digital new‑media production, international public relations, comparative media system and global media case analysis. Teaching forms integrate theoretical lectures, media‑practice workshops, academic seminars and field research projects. The school provides professional media laboratories and abundant academic resources for international students. Applicants shall be non‑Chinese citizens holding valid passports and hold recognized bachelor’s degree. Two academic recommendation letters are required for application. Students must finish all required course credits and pass master thesis defense to obtain the degree. Graduates can engage in cross‑cultural journalism, international public relations, global media operation and media research work within international news agencies, cultural exchange institutions and global communication organizations.
