Every admitted student receives one-on-one academic supervision from faculty supervisors. Under supervisor guidance, students complete literature retrieval and review, research scheme design, experimental scheme debugging, test-data collection and analysis, research-result sorting and academic-paper drafting, and finally complete original master thesis and pass thesis defence. Applicants shall provide authenticated bachelor-degree certificate and complete official academic transcript issued by accredited
higher-education institutions. Applicants with electrical engineering, automation, power system or other related STEM backgrounds get priority in admission assessment. Non-native English-speaking applicants need valid English-proficiency certificates (IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 80 or above). Applicants who have completed full-degree programmes fully delivered in English can apply for language-score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally should not exceed 35 years old, and physical-mental health condition must satisfy medical-examination criteria for Chinese student-visa application.
