Master of Education

This full‑time English‑taught Master of Education (Educational Technology) programme is delivered by the College of Education at Zhejiang Normal University, located in Jinhua, a well‑known provincial university with outstanding strength in teacher education and educational research. This research‑oriented postgraduate programme focuses on digital education, educational informatisation and modern teaching 
reform. Major research directions include digital learning resource development, educational big data analysis, artificial intelligence in education, online and blended teaching design, educational media and learning psychology. The programme aims to cultivate high‑level international educational technology talents who master systematic educational theories and digital technical knowledge, possess curriculum design and educational resource development capabilities, independent educational research awareness and good cross‑cultural educational communication competence. The curriculum system consists of advanced postgraduate core courses, discipline‑specific elective modules, frontier academic seminars, teaching‑practice training, supervisor‑led research project participation and master thesis research work. Representative core courses cover Advanced Educational Theory, Digital Learning Design, Artificial Intelligence for Education, Educational Big Data Analysis, Online Curriculum 
Development, Social‑science Research Methodology, Academic Writing and Thesis Standardisation, together with serial thematic seminars focusing on global educational technology hot‑spot research topics. During the 3‑year full‑time study period, students need to complete all compulsory and elective credit requirements, participate in university‑level education academic conferences and workshops, finish teaching observation and digital curriculum development practice, take part in faculty‑managed educational research projects and accumulate sufficient educational research practical experience. Each admitted student receives one‑on‑one academic supervision from faculty supervisors. Under supervisor guidance, students will complete comprehensive literature retrieval and review, research scheme design, teaching‑related investigation and data analysis, research result summarisation and academic paper drafting, and finally complete original master graduation thesis and pass thesis defence. 
Applicants must submit authenticated bachelor degree certificate and complete official academic transcript issued by accredited higher education institutions. Applicants with education, psychology, educational technology and other related backgrounds will be given priority in admission assessment. Non‑native English‑speaking applicants shall provide valid English proficiency certificates such as IELTS or TOEFL. Applicants who have completed full‑degree programmes fully delivered in English can apply for language score exemption by submitting official supporting documents for university internal review. Applicant age generally should not exceed 35 years old, and physical‑mental health condition must satisfy medical examination criteria for Chinese student visa application. After completing all curriculum assessment requirements and successfully passing thesis defence, graduates will be awarded official master degree diploma issued by Zhejiang Normal University. Graduates can engage in educational research work in education research institutes, 
work as curriculum designers in educational technology enterprises, participate in international educational exchange projects, or pursue further PhD‑level academic study worldwide.
