This English‑taught Master of China’s Public Policy program concentrates on public‑policy theories, policy‑making mechanisms and practical governance practices within China. It aims to cultivate international talents who can analyze public‑policy issues and conduct comparative public‑policy research. Core curriculum includes public‑policy theory, Chinese governance system, social‑policy practice in China, urban‑rural governance, environmental public policy, science‑and‑technology policy, comparative public‑policy research and policy evaluation methodology. Students will receive systematic training on policy document reading, case analysis, field investigation and policy report writing. The program arranges guest lectures delivered by policy practitioners and research fellows from domestic and overseas think‑tank institutions. Applicants shall be non‑Chinese citizens holding valid passports and hold a recognized bachelor’s degree; social‑science background is preferred. Two academic recommendation letters, curriculum vitae and English‑written study plan must be submitted for application. Admitted students must complete course credits, finish research assignments and pass English master thesis defense to obtain the master degree. Graduates can pursue career paths in international organizations, governmental foreign‑affairs agencies, non‑governmental organizations, policy research institutes and cross‑border public‑consulting institutions worldwide.
