Master of Chemical Engineering is a full‑time English‑taught international master programme run by the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Fuzhou University. Main research directions include fine chemical technology, new energy chemical materials, environmental chemical engineering, catalytic technology and green chemical process optimisation. The teaching system combines theoretical lectures, laboratory experimental training, process simulation practice, research case analysis and academic exchange activities. Every enrolled international student receives one‑to‑one academic supervision. Supervisors guide students on course module selection, research topic demonstration, experimental design and thesis composition. Students shall obtain compulsory and elective course credits, complete chemical engineering‑related experiment and research tasks, finish independent master dissertation and pass final defence for graduation and degree conferral. With formal official approval, maximum study period can be extended to 4 years. Graduates are competent for chemical process research, new‑material development, production technology optimisation and environmental safety assessment positions in chemical research institutes, new‑material enterprises and chemical manufacturing industries. Eligible foreign applicants can submit scholarship applications for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑provided grants.
