The Master of Chemical Engineering program is a full-time English-taught academic master program operated by the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology of Tianjin University, one of the most renowned chemical engineering schools in China. The program focuses on chemical process optimization, new chemical materials development, energy chemical engineering, environmental chemical engineering and biochemical engineering research directions. The teaching system combines systematic theoretical knowledge teaching, chemical engineering design practice, laboratory experimental training and high-level academic seminars. International students can join faculty 
research teams to participate in national key chemical engineering research projects. Every student is assigned a professional supervisor, providing full-cycle academic guidance. Students need to complete all required course credits, finish a research project, complete an independent master thesis and pass the thesis defence to obtain the official master degree issued by Tianjin University. Graduates are well-qualified for chemical engineering design, technology research and development, production management and safety management posts in chemical enterprises, scientific research institutes and engineering design companies. Qualified overseas applicants can apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university-sponsored scholarships to offset tuition costs.
