Master of Business Administration (International MBA) is a full‑time English‑taught professional master programme for international students run by School of Business Administration, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. Rooted in the university’s outstanding discipline strength in finance and business administration, this programme focuses on international business operation, corporate management, financial decision‑making, marketing management and cross‑border enterprise governance. The teaching system integrates theoretical course learning, enterprise case analysis, business seminar activities, enterprise field investigation and postgraduate dissertation research. Every international student is allocated a professional supervisor to provide full‑cycle academic guidance covering course selection, case study, project research and thesis writing. Students are required to complete all compulsory and elective course credits, participate in business practice activities, finish independent original master dissertation and pass thesis defence to obtain the official professional master degree issued by Southwestern University of Finance and Economics. The maximum permitted study period is 4 years upon formal extension approval. Graduates are competent for enterprise management, international business operation, market analysis and financial management positions in multinational corporations, financial institutions, import‑export trading enterprises and related industrial organisations. Qualified overseas applicants are allowed to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑administered international student scholarships for financial support.
