Electronic Science and Technology is a full‑time English‑taught academic master programme for international students at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, hosted by School of Electronic Science and Engineering. This discipline is among the national key disciplines of UESTC. The programme requires no less than 26 total credits, including course credits and dissertation research work. Except designated Chinese language courses, all core lectures, seminars and project guidance are delivered in English. International students will receive one‑on‑one academic supervision from faculty members. Students can select 1‑2 interdisciplinary core courses as degree courses under supervisor guidance. Students may also take Chinese‑taught courses for local postgraduates and obtain corresponding credits with qualified Chinese language proficiency. Students are required to finish all credit requirements, complete independent master dissertation research and pass thesis defence to obtain official master degree issued by UESTC. The maximum permitted study duration for this programme is 4 years for eligible extension application. Graduates can engage in electronic device research, chip design, microelectronic technology development and related technical posts in high‑tech enterprises, research institutes and industrial‑oriented institutions. Qualified overseas applicants are eligible to apply for Chinese Government Scholarship and university‑administered international student scholarships for financial support.
