Digital engineers are the engineers of the modern, networked industrial world. They develop high-tech products by combining mechanical components with electronics and software.
With their knowledge of mechatronics, electrical engineering and computer science, they work where sophisticated technical solutions and their networking are required – for example, on cyber-physical systems, whose developments are also known under the terms Industry 4.0 or Smart Factory.

In the state-approved distance learning program, you can obtain a Bachelor of Science with 180 CP in 8 semesters or a Bachelor of Engineering with 210 CP in 9 semesters .
By increasing the workload per semester, you can reduce the study duration to 6 semesters (B.Sc.) or 7 semesters (B.Eng.) .
